Below are the suggested resources and training classes available from DocuSign. These resources are either videos from the training library or modules produced by DocuSign University.

You can watch videos from the the video library at any time, but to access the DocuSign University training modules you need to have your access to DocuSign set up. To get access, please follow the instructions on the Getting Started page.

DocuSign University Training Modules

  • Send Your First Envelope This course introduces you to DocuSign eSignature and illustrates how simple it is to send an envelope. After reviewing this course, you will be able to perform all the basic steps of sending envelopes, including uploading documents, specifying recipients, adding customized messaging, and adding fields to your documents. (15 minutes)

  • Managing Your Envelopes  This course details eSignature management and reporting features you can use to organize and gain insights on the envelopes you send. After reviewing this course, you will be able to create and use envelope folders, view and take action on shared envelopes, download and print envelopes, view an envelope’s history and certificate of completion, download form data, and run envelope reports. (20 Minutes)

  • Personal Profiles  This course outlines key steps to configuring your DocuSign eSignature personal profile settings. After reviewing this course, you will be able to manage your personal identity, change your signature style, and manage your email notifications. (15 Minutes)

  • Send Using Conditional Routing   Learn how to automatically route DocuSign eSignature envelopes based on pre-defined rules. Conditional routing lets you automate the process of sending eSignature envelopes to different recipients based on pre-defined rules. After reviewing this course, you will be able to explain how conditional routing is used, add conditional recipients to templates and envelopes, and configure conditional routing logic for both simple and complex use cases.(15 Minutes)

  • Get Started: Template Creation Basics for eSignature (Webinar)   In this hands-on learning lab,  you will learn how to create a template, use a template from your template folder, apply a template to an uploaded document and tips for managing your templates. (1 Hour)

  • Manage and Share DocuSign eSignature Templates   After reviewing this course, you will be able to: Edit a template. Organize and share your templates. (25 Minutes)

  • Send Using PowerForms After reviewing this course, you will be able to describe when and why to use PowerForms, copy and distribute PowerForm URLs, and manage PowerForm responses.

  • Bulk Send   After reviewing this course, you will be able to describe when and why to use bulk send, generate and complete customized bulk recipient CSV files, and send envelopes using bulk send.

  • Send Using Conditional Routing   Learn how to automatically route DocuSign eSignature envelopes based on pre-defined rules. DocuSign University Training Modules

  • Get Started with eSignature Administration   This course enables you to configure account settings, security settings, email preferences, and reminder defaults. You will also learn how to establish document retention settings and a legal disclosure. Please note that you may not have access to all sections inside your account. (35 Minutes)

  • Manage eSignature Users   This course enables you to add new users, manage existing users, establish custom permission profiles, establish user groups, and create a signing group on your DocuSign eSignature account. (35 Minutes)

  • eSignature Reporting and Auditing   This course enables you to use the eSignature reporting and auditing tools to gain insights into your DocuSign account. (35 Minutes)

  • eSignature Share and Transfer Ownership   This course enables you to share envelopes with users on your account, transfer individual envelope ownership to other users on your account and create automatic envelope custody transfer rules. (20 Minutes)

DocuSign University Training Modules

  • eSignature API Overview   After reviewing this course you will be able to describe primary DocuSign concepts and processes, discuss how they relate to the DocuSign eSignature API, overview types of DocuSign web integrations, as well as define key terms, signing methods, templates, and best practices for going live with an eSignature integration. (20 Minutes)

 

  • Introduction to eSignature API Objects   This course introduces the object model that the DocuSign eSignature REST API uses. After reviewing this course you will be able to describe the core objects and components that you can use to create an integration using the DocuSign eSignature API. (20 Minutes)

 

 

  • Set Up DocuSign Developer Tools   In order to make requests to DocuSign REST APIs, you need to configure your development environment. After reviewing this course, you will be able to create a DocuSign developer account, generate an integration key and application secret, and configure Postman to make calls to DocuSign APIs. (15 Minutes)

 

  • Build Envelopes and Use Templates with the eSignature API   This course introduces the common approaches to building envelopes using the DocuSign eSignature REST API. After reviewing this course, you will be able to build API requests for envelopes using direct documents, template references, and composite templates. You will also be able to explain the tradeoffs between different forms of envelope structure, and describe use cases for structuring envelopes using composite templates. (30 Minutes)

 

  • Go-live with API Integrations   After reviewing this course, you will be able to describe the processes and best practices involved with moving a DocuSign integration from a development environment to a production environment. (20 Minutes)
