Chief of Staff & Director of Public Affairs

The Chief of Staff oversees the Office of Public Affairs (including Legislative Affairs), and ensures assigned projects are completed and that all of the Department's teams have the resources necessary to be successful. The Chief of Staff is also responsible for additional duties in assisting the State Budget Director.

The Director of Public Affairs serves as the agency’s legislative liaison and facilitates internal and external communications within the agency. The director communicates with media and constituents concerning the affairs of the agency and assists legislators to make laws that pertain to the agency.
