Registration is now open! Here's what you need to know about the 2026 Kansas Agency Business Summit:

Who should attend the Kansas Agency Business Summit?

The Kansas Agency Business Summit (KABS) is designed to teach business and purchasing best practices and functions to new team members and help legacy staff brush up on their skills and dive deeper into niche topics.

The KABS will be most helpful to:

• New employees that started after last year’s KABS or those that couldn’t attend last year.

• Employees that have moved to new positions and are still learning basics of procurement and finance functions within his or her agency.

• Leadership or staff within small agencies that don’t have dedicated procurement or finance staff and want to learn more about these functions.

• Legacy staff looking for more niche topics, or those that want to dive deeper into day-to-day functions.

Will any sessions be offered more than once?

Yes! This was a common request in our feedback survey from last year. This year, the following two sessions will be offered on Day 1 and repeated on Day 2 of the conference:

• Req-to-Check Part One: Making the Purchase

• Req-to-Check Part Two: Making the Payment

We recommend that if you choose to attend Part One, that you also attend Part Two. These sessions will tie into one another.

Do I have to register for every available session?

No! If you are not interested in certain subjects, or only available during certain times each day, you are not obligated to attend each session.

If you choose not to register for certain sessions, it would be a great opportunity to visit the vendor fair, which will be set up in the building and available to attendees throughout both days. More information on vendors to come!

Can I edit, transfer, or cancel my registration?

Yes. Registration for the 2026 KABS lasts until 12:00PM on September 30^th, 2026, and you have until then to edit, cancel, or transfer your registration to another attendee. Make sure you save your registration confirmation email; you will need to refer to this to make changes your registration. If you misplaced your registration confirmation, click here.

Editing your Registration:

• On the confirmation page, or in your confirmation email, there is an option at the bottom to create an account. Follow the instructions to create your account.

• You will receive a login link. Follow this link and find the “Registrations” tab at the top of your account page.

• Click the pencil icon to edit your registration, and click “Save” once you are done.

Transferring your Registration:

• Head to the registration transfer page: https://kansasagencybusinesssummit.regfox.com/2026-kansas-agency-business-summit/transfer

  • You can also find this link at the top of the registration page, labeled “Transfer my Registration.”

• Follow the instructions to transfer. You will need your confirmation number.

• Once you verify the transfer, the new attendee will receive a link to fill out their registration details.

Cancelling your Registration:

If for some reason you need to cancel your registration, please email DA.KABS@ks.gov directly.
