Tips for accessible video
-
Must have captions that are synchronized with the spoken dialogue and non-speech sounds
-
Narrated track that describes critical visual information such as scene changes, on-screen text, or actions not conveyed by dialogue
-
Text transcripts that include dialogue and non-speech sound and context
-
Ensure onscreen text and graphics have 4:5:1 contrast ration and use clean sans-serif fonts at readable sizes
-
Avoid content with too many flashes
-
Disable auto-play
-
Clear speech with minimal background noise
-
Do not use color alone to convey important information
