View from the remote camera today. Work continues on concrete elements of the east plaza. The water feature walls were cast and stone veneer applied. It’s a little hard to see but the entry vestibule glass curtainwall was installed and concrete finished at the Café slab.

South parking lot work continues. Base asphalt layer is complete on the west side of the lot. Existing asphalt demolition completed at the east side of the lot.

View from a recent drone video capture. We had a drone complete video work on the exterior of the building walls to create a punchlist for our team

Work continues in preparation for the 1st area of punchlist scheduled for Monday. This is an office recently added to the project in Capitol Police

While it looks like just a simple long hallway, the continuous light along the edge creates a very difficult and critical light challenge for the wall finish crews. They have taken an extra measure to create a level 5 finish to try to reduce the impacts of the lighting angle.

This is the last interior wood ceiling area at the Café. The final area (exterior Café) is scheduled to start next week.

While it’s raining outside, metal panel crews moved to the interior to finish panels near the main entrance.

The entry vestibule lower curtain wall was installed this week. Metal panels will soon be installed at the canopy structure.

Flooring crews are using a miter cutting tool to make precision cuts for the profiled resilient base.

Where terrazzo floors abut walls, a precast piece of terrazzo base is installed to finish the installation.

The 1st Floor Elevator Lobby terrazzo has been ground smooth and is ready for sealers to shine it up.
