SUMMARY: Schedule of accounting events relevant to the closing of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 and the opening of FY 2026
K.S.A. 75-3002 establishes the state FY as commencing on the first day of July in each year and closing on the thirtieth day of June of the succeeding year.
For FY 2025 activity to be completed by June 30th, SMART will be closed to agencies from Thursday, June 26, 2025, through Monday, June 30, 2025.
