This measures the number of children from birth through two years old who received early intervention services from Part C (Infant-Toddler Services Data System Calendar Year).  Early intervention services are designed to enhance the development of infants and toddlers with disabilities, to minimize their potential for developmental delays and to recognize the significant brain development that occurs during the child's first three years.  Children are referred to the program and services are provided to every child in need.

Graphs show the Number of Children Ages 0-2 With Disabilities Receiving Services from Infant Toddler Services Program for FY13 through FY17 and FY18 by Quarter

In some cases, quarterly data has been annualized to provide a better comparison to prior fiscal years.  Generally, measures that use percentages have been annualized.  This prevents distortions in the quarterly data that may occur because of smaller populations sizes.  Measures that show the numbers of incidents, activities or individuals reflect actual numbers for the quarter.  This allows users to see progress from one quarter to the next towards identified goals.
