Percentage of Non-Interstate System Pavement in Kansas that is in "Good" or "Acceptable" Condition

The state's highway pavement is evaluated in sections and given performance levels of good, fair, or poor. This measure tells how much of our non-Interstate highway pavement is in good or fair condition.
In order to be consistent with new federal pavement condition measurement procedures, KDOT changed the way it classifies roadway segments to be consistent with the rest of the nation. By definition, more segments are classified as fair than before, even though the condition may not have significantly degraded.
