Kansans served with job search counseling, resume writing and other services

Workforce Services staff provide career services to include, but not limited to, Customized Resume Assistance, Individual or Group Counseling, Job Search and Placement, Job Workshops, WorkKeys, Workforce Information Services and many others. These services are delivered to those customers who visit American Job Centers and demonstrate a need for assistance in workforce services. This measure is a reflection of those customers receiving basic and individualized services statewide.
In some cases, quarterly data has been annualized to provide a better comparison to prior fiscal years. Generally, measures that use percentages have been annualized. This prevents distortions in the quarterly data that may occur because of smaller populations sizes. Measures that show the numbers of incidents, activities or individuals reflect actual numbers for the quarter. This allows users to see progress from one quarter to the next towards identified goals.
