The Kansas Department of Administration CLE 2020 Summer Webinars
are now permanently closed.
Thank you to all who participated!
I’d like to take a few minutes to provide you with an update and overview of what’s coming next. In early November, we plan to provide the 2020 Fall Webinar consisting of six 50-minute webinars for the new reporting year 2020-2021. We will
email everyone in mid-October to provide more information about the program once it is developed. You may also check our web page for updates at https://admin.ks.gov/CLE.
The 2020 Fall Webinar will be hosted on a different system, and we expect to improve the quality of the videos so the issues some of you experienced in this group will not recur. We knew when we offered this pilot program there would be some hurdles to
overcome. I appreciate the feedback you have provided in order to improve the program. We very much appreciate your comments. They help us do a better job.
The 2020 Fall Webinar will again be tuition-based, and we will let everyone know what the tuition will be once we determine our costs. Going forward, for state agency attorneys, we will submit InterFunds to your agency after the 2020 Fall Webinar closes.
In the event your agency does not assist you with the cost of tuition, you will be responsible for submitting personal checks to your agency to reimburse them for the cost. This method will continue going forward. For those of you who are private
attorneys or from municipalities or federal agencies, the webinar will again be open to you. We will continue to accept checks and you may mail them to the office as usual. Please note there will be a lag time for me to receive them and process them,
so please be aware that deposits will not occur as frequently.
We have tentatively booked April 23, 2021, for the 2021 Spring Seminar live at Capitol Plaza’s Maner Conference Center! We are excited to do this and see everyone again in person, participate in a live program, get a chance to visit with each other
and, of course, enjoy the food! Details about that program will be provided in the early spring of 2021. In the meantime, please mark your calendars to hold that date.
Again, thank you to all who participated! We’ll see you online in November!
