Position Description: Work at the Senior Administrative Assistant classification involves a variety of complex office support duties of a clerical or secretarial nature. Usually involving several steps to complete analysis of data to identify facts and to complete the required action. Decisions are made based upon well-defined rules, regulations, methods and procedures with little deviation although they may have limited interpretation when applying procedural guidelines. Some of the duties at this level include: providing basic, factual information to customers, proofing and finalizing correspondence and reports, compiling and entering data and retrieving data from records and from an informational database, and basic bookkeeping duties.
Minimum Requirements: One year of full-time, paid work experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work in an office setting.
Referencing the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook, examples of positions meeting this qualification would include bill and account collectors; bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks; customer service representatives; desktop publishers; financial clerks; general office clerks; information clerks; material recording clerks; police, fire and ambulance dispatchers; receptionists, secretaries and administrative assistants; and tellers.
Preferred Qualifications may be used to screen applicants. Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the Minimum Requirements and either or both may be applied depending upon the number of applicants.
At least two years employed full time in an office environment providing administrative clerical support. Bookkeeping experience preferred.

Applicants who fail to submit a Tax Clearance Certificate will not be considered. When you request the Certificate, it will issue you a Transaction ID#. The Transaction ID# is NOT a tax clearance.
