The Topeka Correctional Facility (TCF) is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. The employee provides support and assistance to the records office staff and the Classification Administrator.
Salary: $25,688.00 - $29,744.00 depending on qualifications. Unclassified (At-Will), Full-Time, Nonexempt, Benefits Eligible
Responsible for updating payroll verification information, requesting pay adjustments, and running monthly reports to ensure accuracy in inmate pay. Checks move sheets, job bank sheets, and count sheets for inmate job changes. Performs admissions data entry and keeps FPER records updated. Works with admissions staff on intakes, prepares admissions paperwork, and enters the information into OMIS. Updates necessary forms and maintains supply for the office, as well as assisting other records staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements Required:
Six months of experience in general office, clerical, or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Job knowledge at an advanced level in office/clerical support is a plus.
Must have a current, valid Driver's License.
