Job Description:

This position is in Civil Tax Enforcement (CTE) and is the administrative support for the Civil Tax Enforcement Management Team. Responsible for preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action items, accumulating information and data, and prepares CTE's weekly management report and CTE's Warrant Execution Action Report. Tracks all expenses incurred by warrant execution team members during a seizure of assets. Ensures that appropriate invoices are received to pay the expenses incurred and that monies received from the sale of the assets are appropriately applied to offset payments. Process SMART refunds from petition for abatements and bank levy overages. Maintains an accurate inventory of all supplies, materials, and tools for CTE. Processes all expense vouchers for CTE personnel and ensures that all travel reimbursement documents are accurate and complete

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: KBI check due to direct access to Federal Tax Information in taxpayer records.

KANSAS TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY APPLICANT:

A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days. Applicants are responsible for submitting a valid certificate with all other application materials to the hiring agency. This is in accordance with Executive Order 2004-03. Your application will be considered incomplete if an ACTUAL COPY of your Certificate is not submitted within 48 hours after the posting closes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

This is an Unclassified position.

Salary:

$14.30 hourly; can vary depending upon experience and qualifications.
