Educates customers in person or by phone of applicable laws, policies, procedures, services and resources. Provides customer with information regarding status of records, tax returns or other transactions. Provides guidance on options to correct deficiencies problems or errors. Performs account management on accounts involving business entities of C-Corporations, S-Corporations, sole proprietors, federal government, other government agencies, limited liability compensation, limited partnership, and franchise tax. Conducts the processing of business applications, returns, remittance and refunds. Performs account adjustments, abatements and/or assessments. Provides customer education in a professional manner. Ensures customers' needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.

KANSAS TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY APPLICANT:

A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws. A Tax Clearance expires every 90 days. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two years of experience in interviewing, investigating or providing technical assistance to clients, customers, or the public, and two years of experience or education in auditing or accounting support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
